  • Apply the paste on dark spots. For 5 minutes, leave it dry.
  • Rinse with lukewarm water.

3. Honey, Yogurt, and Coconut Oil

  • Wash your face.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of yogurt, and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil in a bowl. Mix them well.
  • Apply on the dark spots area and let it for 20 minutes.
  • You can do this 3 times a week for 2 to 3 months to see visible results.

4. Turmeric and Coconut Oil

  • Wash your face.
  • Mix 1⁄4 tablespoon of turmeric powder with 1 teaspoon of raw honey, 1 teaspoon of coconut oil.
  • Combine to form a thick paste and apply the blend to your entire face.
  • Let it sit for fifteen minutes. With a hot moist washcloth, wipe it off.
  • Rinse carefully to close the pores with cold water.

Side Effects of Coconut Oil on your Skin

Normally, coconut oil doesn’t have any side effects. But if you are allergic to coconut oil, you may develop hives, rashes, or other unfavorable skin conditions. So consult your doctor immediately if you develop any skin rash. You can also do a patch test on your thigh or hand to see if you are allergic to coconut oil.
Replace your current facial moisturizer with coconut oil for hydrated, healthy-looking skin. Use a small amount and apply it to your face before bed every night.
